The Haskap berry is an delicious new crop for North America although it's native to the boreal forest. It is currently being developed and studied by the University of Saskatchewan. There are several industries using the Haskap Berry for their products. Wines, jams and jellies, ice creams, yogurts, juices and as a fresh or frozen berry.

Finding a suitable crop for the cool central BC climate, the Haskap berry is proving to be the ideal candidate for Doug's acreage. Currently he has planted 2 acres with plans to expand.
